by the Fourth Intermediate Court of Beijing

August 29, 2023

Answer: In foreign-related civil andcommercial cases, if the recipient's country allows postal service, the Court may send the service by mail. When delivering by mail, a delivery receipt should be attached. If the recipient fails to sign on the delivery receipt but signs on the email receipt, it shall be deemed delivered, and the date of signing shall be the date of delivery. If no proof of delivery has been received within three months from the date of mailing, and it is insufficient to determine delivery based on various circumstances, it shall be deemed that delivery cannot be made by mail.
